I'm pretty sure the Ares Tavor 21 is about $300 more than this gun. Ares is a very high end airsoft manufacturer compared to Echo 1. If you are willing to pay the money I say go with the Tar 21.

I use madbull .20's but this gun could easily take .23's or .25's.

try and use .28's because when you are playing cqb in a big arena the bb's tend to spin upward even if you adjust the hop up as high as it goes. i own this gun and i started using .20's then .25's, but both types still go up. then i used .28's and it worked out fine

but dont hold back from using some silicone oil on the internals every week or so if u use it at least 2 a week for at least 30 minutes at a time

Yea i dont like the airsoft version of this. It just looks like Echo1 took a m4, changed the foregrip and stock, and then put Barret trademarks on it. The real Rec7 is different. Different foregrip and it has a a standord m4 stock. But good shooting review though 5*****
