In a classic American twist to the ignorance & blindness of bigotry,a Florida Marine reservist attacked a Greek orthodox priest who was visiting Tampa,Florida, USA. The priest was lost & was approaching the man for direction when the man grabbed a bat and struck him several times,chased the priest when he ran, & struck him several more times. Police reported the man said the priest yelled Allah Akbar. The priest had a long beard, a long black robe, & spoke only a little english (with an accent).

Day three: we had a "changing of responsibility" today, for my outgoing/incoming first sergeant. All of our heads were in a different place. The best we could do was a "moment of silence" for the soldiers murdered at ft hood. We tried to celebrate the incoming 1st sgt, but, one of the soldiers killed at ft hood was actually an instructor for a couple of my buddies when they went through ait. Put a damper on things. We hope the man responsible lives to be punished severely.

When the media told us it was three shooters, it made it even more unlikely. We did not believe that three US Army soldiers would conspire to kill their fellow soldiers. 1 soldier, however, made sense.

Lastly, if someone made him break trust me it wasnt Allah. It was probably the constant deploying to Iraq or The army treating its soldiers like shit pushing them to the limit maybe it was not being able to get adequate care at the hospital (water and Ib profen 800) gets a little old. Maybe it was him telling them that he couldnt complete his contract and needed mental attention but the army overlooked it (as always).
