Can anyone tell me how a mic sounds going into this unit? What's the sound card like on it. Had a mic going into a vestex spin and it was crap! Thinking about getting a vms 4!

I got this mixer, and i have to admit i love it ! the soundcard isn't very good, but it's good enough, check my mixes on my channel (dubstep and electro) if you want prove!! :) And yes it is good for beginners, and yes it works for windows 7 64 b :)

Hi, I was under the impression that controller was going to be bundled with a "special four deck" version of Traktor, and in this video and on the adj website it says vdj. Can you clear this up for me please? Thanks!

@Persianbmw94, Native Instruments recently announced their own Traktor controller, which is of a very similar design. They'll probably update Traktor as well when they release it.

Great Product at first sight, hope to test it soon! But - there is one issue, I will never understand (for being a fan of controlling software via Knobs): There are 4 full controllable channels on the mixing section - even on USB- but only 2 Jogwheels....To have full control on 4 channels there should be at least a simple opportunity to switch between Decks A/C or B/D by a simple switch (if additional wheels are not suitable). The source should be attached to the fader, know what I mean?

The date is continuously being pushed back. Now it's saying August. However, I am having my doubts. I have been waiting like so many. I just went with the Vestax unit. It's out there, I bought it, now I am using it. My feeling in August, they will say September, and so on. I love what's being displayed. I would like one. But the money has been spent, I have gigs to do and to wait is not advantageous to business. Good luck and hopefully they will bring this product to market.

I love the fact that it that has balanced XLR outputs, and that it is open source, so you can use any favorite MIDI DJ software. The thoughful design incorporates 2 mic inputs, which is a plus for any MIDI controller. I predict that this will be vital DJ tool for the Pro Mobile, or PC DJ. The R&D guys really though of the DJ when designing the VMS4. Thanks American Audio

i thought that the vms4 was gonna be released with traktor. is it still gonna work with traktor?

@pac2daO - Yes it will work with any "Midi Learn" software. This controller is like an "open source" controller. It takes software to run it. We'll have MIDI software drivers for all the major software titles: Trator, Virtual DJ, Serato, etc... We are including a lite version of Virtual DJ so that DJs can use it right out of the box if they don't already have software.

@pac2daO I prepaid for mine and will get it on release day at the Sam Ashe in my city. Yes, earlier on and in a AM video the vms4 was supporting Traktor. I do not why the AM switch to Vdj. The vms4 can be mapped to anything, Traktor, Serato... What ever floats your boat. Cost and quality wise... it is what I want.
