I love my choir and we praise God in spirit and in truth. It is not a matter of acting like anyone else or being outside of God's presence. We celbrate Jesus and make a joyful noise unto the Lord. I speak for myself as a choir member. I am blessed to be at my church and with my choir, and I don't see no lightening and brimstone falling from heaven for how we praise. god says judge not lest thou be judge, so if you think that we are not God's children, then he who is without sin cast the 1st rock

Interesting how some feel that because this choir is SDA that some have a negative view....as though there is a confusion between one's love of the Lord and their dedication to man made doctrines. I can only hope that this SDA choir as well as others will continue to praise the Lord in song!

hmm... This is an SDA Choir??? Definitely a whole different view of worship and praise music than we have here in Tanzania. While the choir is definitely talented, I can't really find this appealing, sorry.

@changesnlatitudes First of all I'm Adventist, and for a long time we had this reputation for not praising God, embracing a boring, dull lifeless worship. Thanks be to God we have a lot of choirs like this one. 2nd of all this is a competition and this is not something you would see Sabbath morning at 11:00

@changesnlatitudes That's fine. Some people worship differently. Some are conservative. Some are liberal. Some people love hymns. Some people love Gospel. Some people love Contemporary Christian. I think the importance of it all though is that your worship is real. And if you meet the director of this choir, you can feel his love for God when he speaks. As far as I'm concerned. his worship is real.

This crazy gospel style is already used in Adventist Praise in Brazil, It is so sad.

I'm adventist in Brazil and I hate this kind of music, they seem as drunk people trying to break free but do not knowing how to get freedom.

@josiaspereira There's no need to criticize someones form of praise. They are not praising you, they're praising God. If God has a problem with it, He'll let them know. And as far as I see, He doesn't since He let them win regionals and the money the received went toward their church. And that's not saying your form of worship is wrong either. Just different. I could also go into the culture of Gospel but that could be an entire sermon.

Are they praising God? Are they singing to reach the hearts? The video shows they are singing to win the competition and get money as you said. It's just like to say "I will work on Sabbath and give the money to church".God doesnt accept it.

Is there different way to worship God? There is just one God. We need to learn the right way to adore Him. There many roads, but just one road lead us to God.

so sad. this theater not praise. Praise is not a manufactured experience, it is response to God's goodness. When one is truly praising God, no one has to tell when to shout or how raises your hands, unless your goal is to please the crowd and not God. This is the perfect example of what I call "manufactured praise" So sad to see it is coming from those that hold a measure of truth. SMH

@magrah2 I'm sorry you feel that way but just because they put an order to it does not mean it's fake. That's like praise dance is fake. Just because someone tells me to do an action doesn't mean I can't put my own feelings into that commanded action. My praise can still come through and I feel the praise coming from each individual on stage even if they are doing the same action.
