I cycle bikes I have a upright type of bike which I use most I dont bother with a helmet. because it feels ike amplified walking. I have a mountain bike and because my weight is forward and its faster I wear a helmet on it. I dont think enough is said about the body position of cycling diffrent bikes. If you want something thats quick and a something thats a joy to be on you maybe should try an upright bike. Five words to describe it. Easy, comfortable, social, enjoyable and quick
In the USA I don't think there are any helment laws, other than for children under 16 or so. It would be best to educate people about helments. When I ride fast and am more likely to crash - I wear a helment. When I ride to the grocery, slowly - the wind feels nice blowing threw my hair.
I agree - cramming helment fear down on people only supports more stupid cars.
We need to get drivers to be more considerate around cyclists!

@vermontcreekbed Thanks for the encouragement. I know I am harping on the same issue a lot, but then i doifeel we are making progress.
Also, I try and make each video a complete story, with other issues as well as the helmet one., coming in.
In this case, showing a bit of Fremantle, talking about E bikes (which will be my next video) and about step throughs.

Nice video Mike. The more successful case studies you show from overseas (without helmet laws) the easier it gets to change the stupid laws here.
