As an Arsenal I would probably say RVP but at the moment it's Ronaldo considering how many goals he has scored this season. He's a fancastic player. But if RVP was fit throughout the whole season every season he would be better then Ronaldo. RVP gets injured too quick.

Also, no one can deny that if van Persie wasn't injured so often he would be one of the best strikers on the planet. Probably comparable to the likes of Villa, Forlan and Ibrahimovic.

Realisticly, Ronaldo is a better player. He's is one of the best players in the world, if not the best. But if i had to pick 1 out them than i would have picked ROBIN VAN PERSIE cause(no hate to ronaldo) but although RVP is injury prone but he is more loyal to his club than cristiano ever was for MANU.

@judo330 Only thing Ronaldo is better at is at tricks. And nowadays even when he uses his tricks he can't get past defenders. Van Persie doesn't often use tricks, but when he uses them they're effective and RVP is more a goalgetter than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is just a fucking barbie who thinks he's on a catwalk. And RVP and C. Ronaldo are both 2 of the best free kick takers in the world.

@MrZeegelaar that's the reason why ronaldo has scored 190 goals and van persie 100. Ronaldo is 2 years younger. Ronaldo is much faster than van persie. Ronaldo passes much easier a defender. The only way van persie comes close to ronaldo is in free kicks. Ronaldo is just far better.

Realisticly, Ronaldo is a better player. He's is one of the best players in the world, if not the best. Anyone who say's different is either an Arsenal fan or hates Ronaldo for his attitude or whining, which I also think is pathetic, but you can't deny his talent. I'm actually a big RVP fan and think he's a class act, but he is far from the level of Ronaldo. Attitude though, RVP all day.

Both is fast, CR probably faster but Van Persie has a better acceleration than CR, that's why I'd rather have Van Persie in my team, he also know when to pass and doesn't hogg the ball like Crist. Although both is weak, Ibra is better than both in my opinion.

Van Persie is not selfish, all of his tricks are to achieve a goal or necesary, where as Ronaldo is just a showboater, bit too selfish and continues dribbling too long then what is good for the team. And Van Persie just has more skills

Even though I'm a Gunners fan all the way, I can think of 1 simple reason why C.Ronaldo beats van Persie as a football player. Ronaldo is rarely injured, while van Persie seems to struggle against injuries every game. I do think van Persie is more skillful but everytime he seems to be having a streak of good games he gets injured, it pains me to admit but it's the truth.
I hope van Persie can keep himself from getting injured this time around. *crosses fingers*

this video is really old...i watched this when I was 16 I'm 20 now. Case and point V. Persie is one of the best technically modern gifted players out their, unfortunately he has had a career full of injuries this has stopped him from being recognized on a global level. but without a doubt in my mind if he were to have had a injury less career people would be mentioning his name in every football conversation. hes 27 already and would be 28 next year which doesn't leave him much time.
