I have a question: Before the arrival of Europeans, was there an indigenous name for the collection of islands that form the Phillipines today? In other words, is there a tagalog name as a substitute for "Phillipines"?
Ferland Magellen was the one who named it and he was from Portugual he is it's founder and Alot of Europeon influnce on that place alot of the people there are Europeon too.
