great...thats what to cover a song mean. make your own version to honor a great song. not try to sound as similiar as possible to the original. then it mostly sounds shitty. your version have a tiny jazzy groove. i rly like it. it would be sounds better when you play some maj7 chords, would it make bit more swingy if you know what i mean ;)
