yeah they need time to calculate their actions precisely instead of rushing fastly and moving to the wrong place. kinda like one of those electronic chessboards, when you put it on hardest dificulty, the computer takes about 30 seconds each turns, but it predicts chundreds of moves you could potentialy use.
They are obviously processing their relative position compared to the other robots and object they are suppoed to move too slowly. How would they be glitchy if they were able to "think" faster? That's like saying Microsoft wndows will run glitchy on a faster computer....
dude your a retard. they dont know where each other are. thats what makes them remarkable. they use visual cues to figure out where they are. they use counters to figure out how mny people are on each color butthats it. that is how they find the spot, they see the color and go towards it. they are ALWAYS randomly placed on the stage and so they cannot know where the others are.
Name calling gets you no where and considering I've been in robotics I think I know a thing or two. It doesn't matter how they find the object or figure out where they are that concerns me. It's how fast they can process the informtaion that they get whether its from visual cues, sounds, etc. Having a faster processor to PROCESS whatever data they get would make them accomplish their goal faster. Seriously, how could you not understand that from my last post? Makes me wonder who's the retard :/
sorry i got out of line. but still. i dont think its a problem of prosessor speed. i think the speed is fine. its all in making codes that will better interprete the visuals it gets. and physical speed wouldnt help either because of innacuracy. i think there is substantial improvement to be done with the code but microcontrollers are pretty fast for stuff like this so i dont think that is a problem.
again sorry i normally dont goto name calling im just pissed at something elce is all.
Haha, lol, if he hadn't watched it he wouldn't have known it was boring, dummy. So he thought it would be cool to watch. So he did. And he thought it was boring. He can't un-see what he saw, right ?
Also, cool robots. Cool project. I hope Claybots will one day be for real with this tech.
Robots: Come on! We are almost getting it! All the robots are here! Come on!
*number above says 6 out of 7 robots*

The robots need faster processors. They are too slow.
cheshire03 3 years ago
its not the prosessor, and besides. any faster and they wouldnt be accurate and it would be glitchy.

Yeah, they probably need to make their code a little more efficient, etc. It's ok, don't worry about the name calling, no hard feelings.

cool.

lol. when this is perfected, the robots will be faster, and it will be carrying beverages and snacks to people.... not really a help to society

Shouldn't we be running away from them?

I feel the same way; the matrix is one step closer to being real.

That last bot looked like my brother. he always grabs whats being moved at the last minute and makes it look like hes actually doing something.
very cool area we are getting into and a time to be attentive and wary of all the uses of this kind of technology.

No, we are the borg.
*statement* would 2 borgs join on equal foot, in order to add each other distinctiveness to theirself?
