I always have enjoyed these gameplays and if you enjoy playing that more that might get you that little bit of motivation you need, like Steve is doing OnlySniperSteve on Black Ops again. As far as games like Mincraft/LoL go I really don't know because I have never played them but if you enjoy playing and uploading it I say go for it.
