our gurus were human it's just that they were very special as they were one with God (in saach khand). i think of it as this: by being in this state they were a direct messenger to God + thus teaching us how one can escape this dark age we live in + attain God. to address your 2nd question: i have no idea if they had supernatural powers...i've never been in this state. i tend to think that they didn't.

In my own Opinion the Sikhs are a very respectable and admirable group of people who have a very interesting history as well as having a long history with Britain and the British empire. A very vibrant and colourful culture the Sikhs have.

If anyone ever looks in a history book you are gunna find entire Regiments of Sikh soldiers who have fought all over the world along side British forces. I'm proud of this religion because it is the religion I believe in. The book is treated like a living person unlike any other holy book in other religion and is cared for very well, often ed fanning it is away to show respect for the holy book!

I love the Sikh religion, I am not a Sikh myself, but no just a little. I notice though SIkh can be very anti Hindu and Anti Muslim. What you need to understand is that when christians convert so called sikhs that really these sikhs were churray hindus in the villages, they get marginalised by the hindu government and so they dont like being low caste hindu's they convert to sikhism not really following the religion as they still worship statue's and when christians come they convert again, so these people are really hindus that are converting to christianity.

Sikhism was born out of the Sanatan Dharma which you refer to as hinduism and you can say it has alot in common because of this, it also has alot in common with buddhism, Concepts are the same, prayers, mantras, beleifs, practices, way of life is all diffrent hence why it is a distinct relgion and in my opinion second to none. That is Bhai Mati Das Ji. He was a Sikh in Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's times. in those days, the fanatic mughal emperor Aurangzeb wanted to convert all of India to Islam. The distressed Hindus went to ask Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to ask for help, he being the most popular holy men in India at the time. The Sikhs are proud of him because, its brave to give your life for your religion, but even braver to give your life for another religion.

no question is a stupid question.
our gurus were human it's just that they were very special as they were one with God (in saach khand). i think of it as this: by being in this state they were a direct messenger to God + thus teaching us how one can escape this dark age we live in + attain God. to address your 2nd question: i have no idea if they had supernatural powers...i've never been in this state. i tend to think that they didn't.

i did a bit of research nd found that sikhism strictly forbids human incarnation of god... and asa far as miracles go the gurus believed that they were a cheap way of getting attention... even though they could perform it, they didnt do a lot of them because that would distract from the main message which is GOD... but as far as i know they did perform some

It's hard to reach and not for the ordinary as they will seek to use this power for evil. Guru Nanak reached this state and thus became a servant of God's will. In my own Opinion the Sikhs are a very respectable and admirable group of people who have a very interesting history as well as having a long history with Britain and the British empire. A very vibrant and colourful culture the Sikhs have.

The Sikhs have made a very important contribution to Britain and the British Empire as well as making Britain multi cultural. If anyone ever looks in a history book you are gunna find entire Regiments of Sikh soldiers who have fought all over the world along side British forces. In my own opinion they are very respectable group of people most of which i have met are very friendly and kind and do not try and push others into converting like other Religouns which is very admirable.

Wow, i am sooooo glad to be a sikh. i recentely went to india and went to a sikh function, i was pretty dissapointed to see sikhs that seem like gur sikhs wearing a kirpan and everything begging and when we asked them y, they would say i am dressed as a sikh. i didnt like that

I'm proud of this religion because it is the religion I believe in. The book is treated like a living person unlike any other holy book in other religion and is cared for very well, often ed fanning it is away to show respect for the holy book!

"The Guru Granth Sahib of all the world religious scriptures, alone states that there are innumerable worlds and universes other than our own. i am an amritdhari and i can't imagine life without being a sikh, and the only reason sikhs are converting to christianity is because they have no education about their religion and therefore cannot possibly love their religion. their is no point being proud to be a sikh if you have no intention of taking amrit.

I love the Sikh religion, I am not a Sikh myself, but no just a little. I notice though SIkh can be very anti Hindu and Anti Muslim. I know a little bit about the history and I know a little bit about the torture these people have done unto sikhs, but I recall Guru Nanok(RIP) saying something to the extent of " go not say the Qu'ran or the vedas are false" I am actually thinking about becoming a Hindu. What you need to understand is that when christians convert so called sikhs that really these sikhs were churray hindus in the villages, they get marginalised by the hindu government and so they dont like being low caste hindu's they convert to sikhism not really following the religion as they still worship statue's and when christians come they convert again, so these people are really hindus that are converting to christianity.

Sikhism was born out of the Sanatan Dharma which you refer to as hinduism and you can say it has alot in common because of this, it also has alot in common with buddhism, Concepts are the same, prayers, mantras, beleifs, practices, way of life is all diffrent hence why it is a distinct relgion and in my opinion second to none. I would love to know what sikhi has borrowed from islam..

Great video. I have much respect for Sikhs. I think it is the only large religion today with great values. The best in the world. I think Sikhs should go around the world and convert people. The 10 gurus and many after them did. Why aren't Sikhs doing that any more. I know many muslim woman that would become Sikh if they are introduced to it. Please go out and teach them.

I totally agree with you GLOB100. Our religion is the most truth and real one. Now no one cares even in the gurdwara sahib people care about money and no respect really hurts. Guru nanak dev ji and the other gurus fought for us the coming generation not for them...the kids even sacrificed.
