NOW i see the problem. This trailer made the movie seem like a big budget action blockbuster like Batman Begins spliced with the gritty dark style of Sin city.

ITS NOT.

the actual movie is a satirical comedy.

Kinda like how Dark Knight Returns was a satire poking fun at the campy 60s Batman comics. The Spirit pokes fun at all of Miller's past works.

Great actors would never suport this movie. Not Depp, not Brando, not De Niro, not Pacino, not Norton, not Fiennes and not Ledger.
