@anneysf He's not evil. Impulsive, impatient, reckless, yes he is. But whatever he does, he doesn't do it out of spite and out his mean heart, but out of his need to protect himself and his sister. Agreed, pushing Bran is not exactly a kind act, but how can you call him evil because he' s in love with his sister? It's twisted but by no means evil. He's loyal to her in a very true and loving way. Besides, just wait for the seasons to come. You're gonna love him

@SuperBundi123 Comparing one person or family to an entire army doesn't really work, because armies are made up of thousands of people, all with different personalities. Innocent people always die in war. The Allied forces in WW2 killed plenty of innocents, but that doesn't mean they were wrong to fight Germany.

Also, I think you misunderstood my post because all I said was that that Jaime is fucked up, not that everyone else is perfect.

@vigilanteartist yes, fucked up.... medieval, but if he didn't and Bran spoke about this, he would be dead, his sister and lover dead.... and so would be all his 3 children!!! We know Robert would do it without remorse. I would try to find another solution, but in the end... if there was none, for the lives of my children.... well I would do almost anything.

Jaime did not send an assassin. Evil is a completely subjective concept and one not given much thought before the rise of religions/philosophies that introduced dualism in the world.

You don't think that pushing a child off a roof unflinchingly accounts to evil? I'm not interested in getting into a deep conversation about what is evil, and what is not, and blah blah blah. Jaime may have some good in him somewhere, but in that moment he was evil, IMO. It doesn't get much worse than that.

Also, just for future reference, I'm only about a sixth of the way through Clash of Kings, so don't post any spoilers beyond that.

@SupernaturalLover67 No I do not. I think that Jaime was protecting himself, his sister and his children. Had Bran run back and told everyone what he saw Jaime would have been executed for treason as would Cersei. Their children would have been disinherited and would not have been able to do anything for the rest of their lives due to the stigma. On the other hand, Bran promised his mother he would not climb anymore and yet... I do not believe in good and evil, I believe in human nature.

@redsoxboy24 That is entirely up for debate. While he did much to repent his actions in the later books, he still did terrible things in his past and was never exactly such a moral man. I don't consider him evil, but some would, and Jon certainly doesn't have warm feelings about the Kingslayer - and this is a video about Jon, his feelings and views.
