i love mma the art, the spetacle, and the pure pangentry but if as a fighter the only thing you have to offer is your ground game then thats sad and if all you have to offer is your stand-up thats also bad so a real warrior should have some knowledge of both aspects of the fighting game ,a fighter shouldn;t just lay on his opponent(shrek) for 5 rounds and a fighter should just dance around for the whole fight like they do in boxing (k-1 is fun)

Cro Cop may never win a title, especially now with the UFC becoming condensed, I think he's fighting out of his league and he should be fighting at 205 where he would stand a better chance but even then he would have to deal with Shogun, Liddell, Rampage and Wandy who would all present a challenge. he's not going to dominate either division, but he would fare a lot better at 205 I think.

I can`t wait to see if Gonzaga is a `one hit wonder` or champion, just because Gonzaga had a lucky fight against CroCop doesn`t mean he can have the same fortune against Coleman. Coleman now knows what Gonzaga is capable of; and even if Gonzaga beats Coleman I seriously doubt Gonzaga could keep a title long.
I hope Coleman pulls another suprise fight for us and knocks his ass out!!!!

Remy defenitely must've been inexperienced then but it is like you guys say...everyone has their good days and their bad days but I am a Remy fan and I have much respect for him...he is an awesome fighter and Cro-cop is a tough guy but they have fought more than once and Remy has also beaten Cro-cop before in one of their fights.

There is a long list of people who have beaten the "unbeatable" Cro Cop but Remy isn't one of them, this was their only fight. You might be thinking of Michael McDonald who knocked Cro Cop silly, they bear a resemblance.

I was surprised but I wouldn't say shocked, it's never a shock to see Cro Cop get KO'd I had already seen it half a dozen times up to that point, Hoost beat him 3 times, twice by KO, Randleman KO'd him within a minute or so, Michael McDonald KO'd him after he was dancing around like Floyd Mayweather, Mike Bernardo KO'd him, Nogueira submitted him and then there's the decision losses plus the KO by Gonzaga..so was I shocked? No I saw it happen too many times.

definitely, styles make fights...but I mean come on, a guy who loses a dozen fights how can it be a shock when someone Ko's him? people just enjoy his fights and go by that when they say he's a legend but look at it objectively and he doesn't even have the accomplishments to match someone like Rampage who is also fun to watch win or lose but nobody is calling him a legend and he beat Liddell twice and is a title holder so people just gotta slow down a little with Cro Cop

Who has accomplished more in their careers? That was the point....Cro Cop has never been a champion in any weight class in K-1, Pride or UFC and records against similar competition in fighting means absolutely nothing...Cro Cop has TWELVE losses, been knocked silly SIX times, body shots, head strikes, head kicks, you name it, he has lost every imaginable way...very overrated and the record speaks for itself

If Gonzaga is so awesome why did he punched in the face by Werdum for like 15 min? He got lucky and found an opening. All good fighters can throw a high leg kick KO. It's finding the opening that takes skill. For sure he couldn't do again and he will lose to my man Arlovski if he stays on top. You'll see!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry no your wrong guy. Anything is better than submissions. I can choke people too. I can also grab an arm and hyperextend it. What I can't do is put together viscious striking combos combined with good wrestling. This young fighters use BJJ cuz it's an easy way out. They don't even have to work for most of these wins. And they only go for submissions cuz it's the only way they can win. It's garbage and I hate it, along with you!

BJJ takes a lot of technique and is much more difficult to apply than you think, especially when you have your opponent punching you in the mouth when you're trying to pull a submission off. Anyone can apply leverage to produce a takedown, anyone could strike, and anyone could submit someone. That's the PURPOSE of martial arts, to make sure that ordinary people could be able to defend themselves even when odds are stacked against them. You don't know shit. Shut the fuck up.

Cro cop is a great fighter. The only thing I see about him is if he pivoted his hips and bottom foot more when he kicks, he'd get even more power from them (as if they aren't powerful enough already!).
