well its good to see that both these girls are engaged and happy. but brad shouldnt get any hate. i mean he did the right thing but not choosing anyone, it would have been worse if he just led someone on and dumped them 6 months later. but we all thought way back when that he would choose deanna forsure.

@juliehashipbones I don't hate Brad and I do understand why he did what he did his first time on The Bachelor. However, if he didn't see himself marrying anyone just yet, some bachelors have given out promise rings (just in case people don't know, it's basically a ring that says "let's date and see how this goes"). I think that would've been a good alternative but it seems as if he REALLY didn't see him with Jenni or DeAnna so I respect Brad for not leading them on after the show.

Yes, he led both of them on, but he didn't fall in love. You can't force someone to get down on their knee and propose to someone they don't even love. Brad's honest with himself and those he cares about.

@TheAzzy90 You know, even though DeAnna chose Jesse in her season and Jason ended up with Molly, I still think they love each other or at least care about each other to some extent. A part of me still wishes SO MUCH for them to be together.

Not that I like Brad, but leading them on is like the name of the game here, so I'm guessing that's what Brad did. I still don't understand why these women, beautiful and talented, would disgrace themselves (for lack of better words) by coming on the show, getting led on, and loving it and how Brad could say he's got connection with each and everyone of them right in their face when obviously it's not true and sleep at night.

I agree with @juliehashipbones & @brattette - I can't understand why there is so much dislike of Brad. If I was in their situation, I would have wanted him to be honest and not ask me to marry him than ask me and break up days, weeks or months later. I can see a complete change in Brad this time around. He is not as arrogant or uppity as he was the first time around. I wish him a lot of luck and hope he has found the woman of his dreams this time. Good luck Brad.

@bee3105 Any idea of what the true story is about he and Emily at this point? I hear every angle about those two: they're together, they're broken up again, etc. Who knows what to believe at this point. Just hope it doesn't lead to an ugly Jake/Vienna fiasco on TV. Thing is, even for Ricki's sake, they'll be smart enough not to make it too public ugly nasty.

Brad wasn't a jerk and these women desperately need to get over it. He was honest. He didn't fall in love with any of them. Its not like he could tell production that he quits midway the show. They had to go all the way to the end. Was he supposed to pick someone for the sake of the show? Its stupid. These girls were harsh with him. I didn't see the season but its not hard to get the gist of what happened.

Yeah I don't understand why the hatred towards this guy. He made the right choice, he wasn't feeling and was being true to his heart. And I think he wanted to pick someone, I think he thought he was going to but his heart kept saying... NO NO NO! And he followed his heart.

Many women want the fairy tale. They expect or want the bachelor to select a bride to complete their fantasy of the knight sweeping the girl (whom they imagine they are, sort of) off her feet and living happily ever after.
