That's really cute, but I always heard that one of major reasons that people become allergic to certain foods is because they were fed to them too young. My sources may have been incorrect, but my niece's pediatrician said not to feed peanuts, eggs, or strawberries (some of the most popular food items) to a child under 2.

Yes it's true, there are some foods that should be avoided during pregnancy, and the first 18-24 months of the baby's life. I don't know why these foods are more likely to cause allergies than others but it is better to be safe than sorry!

most people are at least slightly lactose intolerant. We're not really supposed to drink milk after we stop developing. Other animals stop at an early age as they only drink the milk to get the nutrients they need to grow.

I wish I could put my baby on "hyper mode" to make her eat faster. That was strangely satisfying to watch. Babies just take so dang long to eat, and you have to supervise so closely when they're so young!
