  • hey!!!!!!!it onions not garlic

  • Well done!

Please visit our youtube/dothemexican to watch how we prepare pico de gallo and other recipes.

    Greetings!

  • u dont put garlic sorry

u guys are wrong on that!!

  • check out Spilla Flo video

  • =S this isn't pico de gallo, i'm mexican and have eaten pico de gallo my whole life, and it's nothing like this... this is more like "Duritos's" dip...

  • i noe huh you dont use pepper.

  • o_O what? i don't understand....

but anyway, i've asked many friends in different states of my country, and seems like not even here it's the same recipe... they do it one way in monterrey, a different way here in jalisco, another in mexico city, and another in sonora... it's a bloody mess...

  • the grey pepper is mostly in american food. This an american version

  • Oh, thanx, i know it's american version, =) but just wanted to say it's not the original pico de gallo

  • hey i am mexican too but the truth is that it is not the same to eat a mexican pico de gallo than an american one, as it is neither the same to eat an american hamburger than a mexican one, its just the same thing but with some other ingredients.

i didnt say it in spanish because mos of people around here is american :)

  • @otharennaur .....hi....if this isn't the real pico de gallo...then what is the real one? if the ingredients are different, then what are they? i would really appreciate it if you tell me....thank you

  • @aboubrad There's many recipes. The most common is Tomato, Jalapeños and Onion. No garlic, no Cilantro. BUT! most people only call it salsa. The real pico de gallo I know and everyone knows here in México is pretty much the same BUT, instead of Jalapeño, tomato an onion, it has Orange, Watermelon, Jícama, Cucumber, salt, lemon and "chile en polvo" (hot-pepper-tasting powder)

  • @otharennaur Yes in Mexico it is that recipe. But if you go to Madrid, it's a whole another recipe. There's no such thing as a "real" pico de gallo as there are many recipes as you said, same thing can be said about other salsas & dishes as well.

  • stupid whites, my aunt makes it way better

  • lol im cuban. can i tell you guys how to make a cuban dish and you guys make it a vid?

  • You are on YOUTUBE. Make a Video.

  • Nom nom nom. But yes, this is Salsa Bandera, yes?

  • wtf!? you dont put garlic on it Lmao!!!!

they dont know how to give mexican food info for shit lol

  • i am mexican and i know for a fact that pico de gallo is a mixing of the ingredients!

my parents make it all the time!

whatever you guys think, look shit up before you argue about it WHITE PEOPLE!

  • ya, WHITE PEOPLE, you go and show em..

    lawl fail

  • Calm down. You should look it up before you waste your time arguing.

In Mexican cuisine, Pico de gallo is a fresh condiment made from chopped tomato, onion, and chiles.Other ingredients may also be added, such as lemon or lime juice, fresh cilantro (leaf of coriander), cucumber, or radish

In some regions of Mexico, a fruit salad tossed in lime juice and sprinkled with a salty Chile powder is also known as pico de gallo

OOOOK? really. get a hold of yourselves

  • Yes just because someone's parrents make it for them does not mean what they make is it, my grandma makes scones that arn't anything like scones you would buy in stores haha

  • That's "Salsa Bandera" not Pico de Gallo... Pico de Gallo it's like fruit salad...

  • Actually both are "pico de gallo" that depends if you are in the north, center of south of Mexico. In Baja California (where i live) for example "pico de gallo" it's a fruit salad...

  • Exacto!! Yo también soy de BC y me saqué de onda al ver su "pico de gallo" tan raro XD

  • Igual esta bien.. lo intentan =)

  • lies... thats not a pico de gallo ese... thats just a sauce... a pico de gallo is a combination of FRUITS with lemon and chili... watermelon, pineapple, coconuts, jicama, apple, orange and cucumber..

  • Fruits w/ lemon and chili? I never try that and I'm sorry but i don't think I have the stomach to digest fruits and chili together.
