ok..well, regardless of debating his sexual orientation..or technique..if he was pressing his body weight or more...would anyone think THAT was gay?!..at least here we have someone working out and taking care of his health...let's be encouraging..;-)
@BrendsM. You need to work on your technique. Watch on the videos how to twist the bells at the top of the movement. It took me a while with bruised forearms but now it's all good.
I've been using kettlebells for approx 3-4 weeks now, and have found that the back of my wrists, along my forarms are getting quite sore from flipping them over....am I doing something wrong or will they get accustomed to being belted by them..???
I happened upon your kettlebell internet site, and your qualifications triggered a memory. I used to read martial arts magazines back in the '80's and '90's, and a regular contributor (Jow Ga Kung Fu teacher) stated one of his "top deciples" was named Rasul Davis. Are/were you Scott Wong's student? If so, are you still teaching Jow Ga? I hope you don't think I'm too forward. I'm just someone who loves Chinese martial arts and tries to keep true practitioners together.
@quanfa88 You are not too forward. I did have the pleasure of being a "Closed-Door Disciple" of Sifu Scott Wong. After training in Martial Arts since about 9 years old (I'm 49 now), he was the most effective and best teacher I ever had. I still love Martial Arts and I don't practice Jow Ga formally. I hope you get this and look me up on the web and we can talk.
