  • I was on board the USS HULL DD-945 from 1974-1978. I was a cook on board. I loved this ship and became friends with many shipmates. Going to miss her!

  • My dad served on the Hull. Lloyd Dunn, Chief fire control . He retired and went on to NOSSOPAC/NAVSEACENPAC ans worked on the development of the CWIS/Phalanx He was proud of his days on the Hull. I can remember as a boy waiting at 32nd street Naval Base waiting for the ship 945

  • I served on the USS Hull as a junior officer from November 1971 until August 1974. She was a great ship with beautiful lines. I have many fond memories of the two WESTPAC deployments that I made onboard the Hull. Well done to whomever put this video together, although it was sad to see the final scenes of the ship going down.

  • The USS Hull was a beautiful ship. I Reported aboard her as a young second class Hull Tech and left her as a HTC. I decommissioned her and morned her when she was sunk.

  • I was on the EP2 panel shooting at her. It was right before we left on our maiden deployment aboard USS Milius DDG69, she's on our deployment video. I remember she took 186 rounds to go down. At first we hit her with 6 rounds of WP and were told to load HiCap's only. V/R GM1(SW) Thomas
