  • the western died when Leone died.

  • The Good the bad and the ugly went about three men's quest to find hidden loot, AND the exposing of the horrors of the American civil war. It was the perfect Western. Outstanding acting was supported by an exceptional soundtrack ( who else but Morricone ? ), sublime directing ( Leone ), and a credible plot. Without any doubt my favourite western of all time, and most underscored. A pity about the latter, don't you think ?

  • my favorite moovie ever

  • epic

  • Everytime I watch this my stomach gets all jittery like I don't know whats going to happen... Its the best scene in film history

  • The Music sets the mood so good, Man it rocks

  • THE greatest moment in history.

  • Surely the greatest western ever made

  • Una obra de arte no hay nada que lo iguale

  • the scene before and with this last scene are 30 min most beatiful of always !!!! thans sergio and thans ennio for your music

  • «Put your drawers on, and take your gun off». Best line ever.

  • Low FPS... where's the better one that used to be on YouTube?

  • AHH what's this piece called by Ennio ? It's the best , i've totally forgotten it.

  • I believe the comments posted here says it all. EPIC!

  • Great! Great! Great!

  • Clint Eastwood/Sergio Leone were a unequalled gem.

  • El mayor climax en la historia del cine ,las imagenes y la musica de morricone ,genial, una de mis peliculas favoritas

  • a realy good film! Especially the music. I've seen it just a few days ago, but without the showdown, because the video ended there (thanks to my father)..amid the scene! It's not fair!!

  • I cried when the movie stopped

  • "Eee-d...ee-d..", "Idiot...here, it's for you!" I'll never stop laughing at that scene or when Eli Wallach's in the tub after he shoots the guy and says, "If you're gonna' shoot, shoot! Don't talk!" HAAHAHAAHAAAHAA!!

  • my eyes gets wet each time I see this scene

  • HEEEY BLOOOOONDE!!!!

  • "There are 2 kinds of people in this world...Those with loaded guns, and those who dig...You dig."

  • Unbelievable. Five minutes of three guys just looking at each-other and it's totally rivweting!

  • One of the greatest scenes, one of the greatest scores and one of the greatest movies ever made. I'll never tire of it.

  • The music says it all...that is one of the most famous scores in all of movie history. I just listen to the music and know what is going on.

  • The track "trio" by Ennio Morricone on disc is better than whats played in the movie....

  • I disagree, I love the use of chimes and the increase in tempo at the end in this version. But both versions are extraordinary.

  • edgegbr, totally agree, the track has a part that is cut off in the movie and imo is the best part, the peek of the track

  • Clint = God

  • I'd like to help those who want to know what the name of the track is playing over this scene

It is "The Trio" by (no shit) Ennio Morricone

  • that's a great moment of the cinema, baut my favorite 'duelo' is between colonel mortmer and el indio, in "for a few dollars more". eastwood,s character imprompts and give colnel his gun, so he's able to confront tha bandit. to me, that's the justice you can do in a land with no law. morricane is great as always.

  • Watched film about 60 times, my all time fave. Stunning cinematography and the best film music ever. Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone, pure genius.

  • gotta love the music by Ennio Morricone! And of course the extreme close-ups at the end.

  • What makes this scene so classic is that it was one of the first, if not the first, three way draw, and for anyone watching this movie for the first time, not knowing that Tuco's gun is empty, it's really exciting. You don't know who is going to shoot who.

  • The frame rate fucks the whole thing up... too bad. Great scene of course. One of the Unforgettable.

  • Classic. But for me, the final scene between Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda in, 'Once upon a time in the west' tops it. Have you seen it? It's fucking amazing.

  • But what's wrong with the frame rate? Or is that just me?

  • nope, I Got it too,

  • the most beautiful "duel" for me in the history of cinema

Le plus grand duel du cinema jamais filmé

ademas la musica de ennio morricone es perfecta
