Hello mate sorry for the late reply! The home pool at Blythe is a real challenging water, you are fisheing for just one or two runs really with the fish averaging 16-20lb. The place has a lot of pressure so the usual carp tactics are pretty much useless there now. Best attack is to pick a peg by the reeds, feed up right next to them and fish beefed up float tackle with simple sweetcorn, bread or meat on. Boilies are pretty much useless there now as the fish have seen it all before and wised up!
