No one in saying that what Imas said was right. However, it didn't call for a firing. That is what's wrong with this country. There is a double standard. EXAMPLE, you get mad because a white man in a cowboy hat for saying "Nappy headed ho", yet you find it ok to call these guys "honkey white trash a-holes". Of course you probably aren't racist huh? Also,numerous African American shock jocks on HOT 97 (an urban radio station in NYC) were fired prior to the Imus incident for making disparaging remarks during comedy skits against other ethnicities. The fact is,firings like this happen frequently, but the American media has unfortunately made Imus it's sacrificial lamb and symbol due to his widespread notoriety. If you ask me the poverty pimp, Sharpton, had a personal vendetta against Imus.

Dunlap's timing on the final line was fabu too! As was that DEAD ON Imus impression.
Also, Jackie totally kicked butt with that line about "3 things that people don't like". Great to see in the middle of the satire the little acknowledgment that Imus vs. Sharpton is basically a conflict with NO good guy involved.
