  • @RDblues47 Well? Just checked your channel out and boy I had to turn it OFF!.. I GET IT!!

  • I dig your playing! Thumbs way up!

    Take care,

    Tim :)

  • @chessdude67 lol :) thx Tim gonna be ordering the Mox8 within about 10 days or sooner, Will let you know when I get it and how I'm going on with it.

    Keep Rockin!

    Ian

  • @squizzy104 Glad to hear you're going with the MOX8! The weighted keys feel so much better. Don't be surprised if I get one, lol. The MOX6 is fine, but I want the piano feel if I'm going to also take piano lessons.

    Let's keep in touch.

    Tim :)

  • you just rockd it out!!! EPIC RIGHT HERE :D

  • wwwaoouuhhhh !!!!! really good !!!

  • this has been one of my dream guitars since i was a small child. this and a surf green strat

  • magic ! LOve that guitar

  • Nice, very nice.

  • Great stuff, Bravo...What a Guitar....!

  • i am soooooooooooo in love with tht guitar <3333333333333333

  • I respect anyone who has a try at playing Brian Setzers stuff! Awesome. I'm sure Setzer would feel honoured that so many have a go at Stray Cat Strut! :-)

  • seriously badass guitar

  • i think i jizzed my pants more over that sexy guitar than the playing.

  • @GumBeatingTV rofl

  • @RADLADRICK - to see someone playing a White Falcon standing up, watch a video from The Cult. Their guitartist Billy Duffy likes to play one. Love Removal Machine is a good video to start with.

  • Bien tocado,gordito!!!!!

  • @pajaroman100 gordito!! cheeky bastard am not that fat!!! :P

  • Do you gig with that Falcon? Why does everyone sit and play the Gretsch's?

Like to se someone play it live standing with movement. Or is that a hard thing?

I want one so bad,but viewing all these Gretsch user videos-every body sits and plays them, (and well too) but what is the word on live performance with these? Cool axe bro.

  • Hey Lan,

    thanks for quick respond!

Wow, thats a big news for me, cause I was going for the "filters"!

If you had to describe, what would be the difference in tone?

I saw Dean Fertita (dead weather, queens of the stone age) playing it live and it blew me away. since then I want that guitar.

Im mainly playing old school rock, a bit of surf and rock'n'roll sometimes.

Both pickups are humbucker type right, but its sounds like you have no doubts that TV Jones are way better..

    pls explain why:))

  • @nurik1979 WOW! just watched Dead weather well i dont think it would matter what pickups u used playing that music! :p A Falcon bass to! I didn't say that they were better but in a clean sounding enviroment the TVs are more Getschee er if u no what i mean they sound like a Gretsch should sound and its very distinctivebut its all a matter PERSONAL taste. TVs are made to a 50s spec and they do just sound like that. I have 3 proper gretsches and 1 blue electromatic and they all have their own feel.

  • @squizzy104

    :D

I was expecting a WOW reaction:)

I know, its not a typical gretsch inspiration I got:)))

I really like its dry overdriven tones, its just so juicy-my best definition I guess:)

Im gonna try both filtertrons & TV jones when Im in NYC, going to visit some place called "rockystreetsounds"-people say good things about them.

Thats for introducing the Brian Setzer to me, just been watching some of his performances and keep wondering how come I never came across his music before!

  • @nurik1979 I am really glad you have discovered Setzer i was here in the uk watching a program called top of the pops when all of a sudden this rock a billy group came on The Stray Cats and I was blown away and hooked.I have another channel I am working on at present called "memorylane1980s" I recorded the program and have thousands of vids from it I have over 400 on at present and if you have a look through you will find that first appereance and a few others as well they are very rare vids.Ian

  • what a great tunes coming out of you mate:)

Ive decided to go for the 6136T next month, but Im not sure about pickups:

did you try the same model but with filtertrones?

Maybe anyone else have tried to compare them?

Dont have a chance here in denmark to try them at all, have to order and wait if wanna buy it.. But im coming over to NYC next month, so I thought to buy it then..

Nice guitar and great playing again, good style:)

    Best,

    Nurali

  • @nurik1979 Thx 4 the complement Nurali, No I didn't try the Filtertrones on the Falcon as I have the Cadilac Geen with gold hardware model with them on so there was no need, i was going to use the geen one with the Filtertrones for my next video doing "Rock This Town" but my camera got NICKED!.I think if you are buying a Falcon you HAVE to save that little bit extra for the TV jones ones or I think you might regret it every time you think about it!. Now I don't regret it and it sounds awsome.Ian

  • @nurik1979 Did you get your new Guitar friend?

  • Wow, great job!

  • class cover to stray cats .. well done. in the groove.. gary in dayton

  • is this jamvox really worth it? can you take out the rhythm guitar on songs like you really got me by the kinks or is it just the lead? how hard is it to remove guitar parts?does it take long? and can you get the vox ac30 british invasion garage type tone?sorry for all the questions but u seem lik d onli person who is using this as its meant to be and not for cheesy 80s hair metal crap.

  • @dysfac WEll? first of all I have not had a lot of success removing ANYTHING to tell you the truth, but I have a lot of backing tracks so I don't need too!. I don't think its that good for that but I could be doing something wrong!I have not spent a lot of time removing anything coz it just took too much time and I wasn't happy with the results. Now,Its very good value for money,I use it every day and the sounds are great you will get what you want I have it through a mixing desk Fantastic sound.

  • That guitar is pure class! I Love your guitar man. It has such a clean sound! :)

  • @MisterGlanzberg Thx dude...its only through a JamVox on the computer as well!!!

  • What Year Is The Falcon

  • @AxelSteel84.. I Bought it at the beginning of 2009, then did this vid with it. Its just stunning to hold and really great to play..beautiful.

  • @The50s60srocker

I think he is playing with reverb

  • @The50s60srocker Yep ya right on track there. the Danelectro is a good pedal and with a Gretsch through it ya'd be rockin!

  • @The50s60srocker You would certainly get a Gretsch sound as they are distinctive, You would need some Echo or reverb and some gain and the sound should be there. I was using the JamVox through the computer, they are great fun and certainly worh the money.

  • @The50s60srocker No distortion pedal, just Echo Plus and Bounce pedal on JamVox for Stray Cat Strut, the Amp Simulation I was using was a Tweed 4x10 with High VR Gain . Rumble in Brighton was the same only difference a Tube Pedal was ADDED. The good thing about the JamVox is, is that it remembers all the pedals for every Tune so once set you never have to touch em again. Hope this helps.

    Keep Rockin!

  • Spot on man Im going to try and learn this .Great Guitar.

  • @mcyclecollector Thx dude. Keep Rockin!
