@yoimawsome1 If you do not have a Wii it is cheaper to buy a gamecube. Probably better just to save up and get a Wii in the long run but if the only thing you can afford at the moment is a gamecube then you may want to buy one. Gamecubes are cheap.

And a game uses... 5 blocks on your memory card, right?

So then the game will take up those 5 spaces on your memory card and leave you with 5 left.

Dude.. This thing plays waaaaaay more than 5 hours straight. I went on a roadtrip for the day from 8:00-10:00 at night. I played it right bfore we left, so it was on for over 14 hours and it still works!

probably the most innovative console of its generation, the nintendo gamecube(i think) was the first one to let 4 players to play at the same time. ps2 only had 2 controllers. im not really into xbox so im not sure if xbox had 4 controllers as well. anyways, this game console rocks...sony kinda based the ps3's four controller setup from this one.

@YourGuy95 Gamecube is actually my 2nd favirote nintendo console. It was made for nintendo fans. Tons of good games. But it didn't appeal outside of the people who grew up with nintendo games. So it only sold about 20 million units, thats why nintendo changed their marketing strategy for the wii. It's not about the games anymore, it's all about making as much money as possible while putting the least amount of effort into the games and technology.

@YourGuy95 Inexperienced? I've been playing nintendo systems since I was six. I stood in line to get the GBA, gamecube, DS and the wii. 90% of the wii's library are terrible 3rd party no name games that are completly gimicky. The nintendo produced games are good though there is far too few to warrant a purchase of the console. I was a huge nintendo fan until the Wii. Nintendo abandoned it's core fanbase to appeal to "non-gamers" simple fact.

I have that memory card too. It comes with animal crossing and is small just to hold animal crossing data. lol. Also, I also sometimes print out gamefaqs walkthroughs.

I also have three game cubes. Two of them broke. I gave a broken one to my cousin and he fixed it.
