This math is Singapore Math repackaged. It's NO good and neither is Singapore Math. It's NOT preparing them for the real world. In the real world you can't go through all of these steps and need so many visuals and electronics to solve a problem. You need to be able to use paper and pencil and NUMBERS in order to solve real-world math problems, that will never go out of style.  We're dumbing down our kids/

It's awful stuff. There is no "deep understanding" of anything. Just a new gimmick using computers -- that doesn't make math easier. Teachers today try to find the easy shortcuts instead of doing the disciplined work. Sad. Thank you, NEA.

enVision is purchased by school districts. Ask your district if this is a program they use. Type enVision Math into Google and it will take you to Pearson. From there you can read all about it.
