  • HELL JEAH GREAT MECHANISM

  • Very cool, reminds me of the Wind Walkers. I wonder if we can increase the number of legs?

  • if you look up Theo Jansen you"ll find tons of instructions, this one is just tweeked a bit.

  • If anyone wants instruction for this: be patient. I just made my modified version of this walker and i will release instruction soon.

  • Walks like a tiger sneaking towards it's prey. That really good. Any instructions? I'm adding this too favourites.

  • Is that Theo Jansen walking mechanism ?

  • there's a grey tab inside the red rectangle on top, pull it down and the bottom will pop out!

  • just read the manual...

  • NICE work man, 5 stars

  • did you do instructions for that?

  • sorry, i do not

  • please make instructions!

  • I know keeping it simple is good, but have you tried loosing the worm gear? Should run smoother with regular gear reduction, even if takes up more space.

  • You can't beat a worm gear. 24:1 gear reductuion and single direction powerflow. also more gears=more backlash.

  • Maybe....but you lose torque with the worm gear.

But for this walker i think that the wormgear is the way to go.

    5/5

  • dtoplak666 fyi, the slower the output, usually it is more powerful

  • Nice, make it bigger and you might fit your RCX onto it. You might want to upgrade to an NXT but anyhow, Well done.

  • Great mini design, keep building! Let me know what you think of my spider.

  • Nice minimalistic design there :]

  • awesome.... no if only it could turn... still great idea, keep it up

  • I like that tiny walker. It has all it needs and nothing more.

  • yee, realy nice design ! 5/5

  • very interesting idea! check out mine and let me know what you think. Keep building!

  • lol funny you call that simple ... 5/5

  • I guess what I mean is that the best designs use the fewest amount of pieces needed to make it work. It's not cumbersome.

  • once you figure it out, it is simple. But i couldnt figure something like this out if my life dependet on it. 10/5

  • I give you top rating fore nice leg design.

  • Wow, nice leg motion and mechanics!

  • thanks, its a variation of the Théo Jansen kinetic leg design
