Like humour, I do not believe timing is something you're born with. An ability to adapt and read people is inbuilt, but not these other things, which are skills. They're are developed in childhood.

i have a question. Im 14 and i live in a small town i really would like doing stand up but im not sure if im too young to do it in any place around here. what should i do??

If you're from a small town chances are there is nowhere close for you to do stand-up. While you're online, look for the nearest comedy club. I'm from a small town myself and have to drive an hour to the nearest club. Once you find the nearest club, email them and explain the situation. Chances are you are too young, but you never know. I'd try doing it infront of friends at school or something like that.

if your school does a talent show then try that. thats what i did in 8th, and 9th grade and now my whole school thinks im halarious when i used to be the kid that never talked.
