Used to wear this one out back in the day. Put it on one of the first tapes I made that was a great mix of PPL and many of the other great groups of that era. That noise you hear is just an old guy singing along. All the best. ~ Mark
Craig Fuller was and still is one of the best vocalists in the business. This cover is very near the mark and it's easily the best i've heard. PPL was a very listened to band in Belfast and we even had a cover band here with 3 ex members of Them. (Van Morrisons disgarded band)
Very nice cover of this cool song. I really liked this group and most people never knew them, only knew their hit song named Amie. Thanks for sharing!!!
This is a lovely song Jim..and the guitar sounds crystal clear again. Its not until I hear a guitar sound like that, that I realise its time to ditch my old one lol.
great job man! I didn't come across this cassette until 1979 - but wore it out over the next few years. Also loved Boulder Skies and Black Eyed Sweet Thing. I think it was thier best all around albumn. Thanx for posting such a great cover.
Thanks Bob, it's perfect because it's from the Technics organ. I played the sloppy snare with my fingers...missed a couple beats. Of course I'll fix it later with Protools....
this is brand new to me. i dig it Jim. this is something i'm gonna have to look into (more stuff from prairie league). you've got some great taste ol' timer. so 1972? wow, i was, lets see - being born!
love it

Don't just ditch your guitar - sometimes you have to experiment with the way you record it. Thanks
