With the "Cold War" over and Soviet archives available, new books about the Battle of Moscow are out.
It's now known the Soviet/Russian counter-attack was VERY effective and had the nazis near total route outside Moscow as panic broke out in the wermacht but somehow the wermacht command was able to halt the panic and reassemble the german troops PLUS the Russians had overextended their supply lines and were exhausted and out of fuel which resulted in a front "stabilized" outside Moscow.
@outskool100 Maybe because it's russians in german clothes pretending to be cowards and treated well by the russians...don't forget this is a propaganda film. In reality they were probably killed.
