1958 Naples of Tebaldi, Price has a beautiful voice but it is not refined as Tebaldi/Caballe her voice is not as powerful.

Chacun son gout - i never warm up to Price's voice.

Cette Forza à Orange- que j'ai entendue- était au coeur d'une année difficile pour Caballé: après l'éblouissement des Semiramis à Paris, il y avait eu Bolena à Barcelone, Turandot sifflée à Nice et le scandale à la Scala. Elle était revenue, mais sa voix était rétive, notamment les piani aigus rétifs. Il était de bon ton de la dire "finie". Je puis dire que sans nier ces diffcultés ce fut pour elle une belle soirée, avec cet pouvoir émotionnel qu'elle a toujours eu

ho visto la Caballe alla Scala di Milano in quest'opera ed era una cosa fantastica.Poche soprano hanno potuto trasmettermi le emozioni che ho provato ascoltando questa voce fantastica. Io e mia moglia l'abbiamo seguita dovunque per poterla vedere in ogni sua performance.Rimarrai per sempre nel nostro cuore e nella nostra memoria, la piu' grande voce al mondo!!!
