I've never been good at makeup. but i love watching your tutorials! the thing with me is that i cant use mascara or eyeliner even though i love them! every time i do, its for fun so i take it off right away. i cant use the makeup removers! it hurts to much! but every time i use a face clothe and soap it doesn't get it all and it sometimes stings my eyes and irritates them too.:( can you help? please respond to me!

The reason that young girls are compelled to wear makeup is because our media and society basically says to them that if theyre not 20 pounds under weight and wear a ton of makeup, they're ugly and worthless. Not to mention, middle school is one of the most frustrating and insecure times in a girls life. When they are older, the 6th graders will regret it; their skin will be old, dry and unhealthy-before they hit the age appropriate for those symptoms. A lot of people like using pencil eyeliner because its easier to apply, and don't usually use liquid eyeliner because its harder to apply. For me its the total opposite! I'm the master at applying liquid eyeliner and can NEVER get pencil to look right! (: I think I'll be better at pencil though after this video..(:

@SuperPost01 Good for you! Ignore the hate from other people. Just be aware that a little eyeliner or mascara (one or the other, I wouldn't apply both), blush, and lipbalm (maybe lipgloss, but just a little on the center of your lips) is all you should apply. If you have the occasional blemish, use just a dab of concealer if it is really bad, and if you absolutely NEED to conceal dark circles, use a light-reflecting lightweight concealer. Good Luck!

@flyfallnite Like I said on another comment, you can get pimples even before 6th grade. I had acne in 6th grade. Just because you're in middle school doesn't mean you have flawless skin. If its just a little makeup it's fine. I'm not for all out makeup in middle school, but just a little like some mascara, blush, and lipgloss is fine. Maybe a tad bit of concealer if you need it, but any more is overdoing it.

@BrookeCanttCook You can, actually. I have super long lashes too. The q tip works, and so does using a q tip on a closed eye gently pulling the lashes down. eventually, you kinda get used to working around them otherwise.
