Beautiful, beautiful blues! Buddy and Eric making the guitar cry. The Strat as a blues guitar rules!! A nod to SRV and Jimi as well. Thank you for the post.
Cool guitarists. Both of them. I am a great fun of them. This is a great song. Buddy took a more amazing version at Mountreaux in 2004. Check out the DVD "Buddy Guy at Mountreaux". Very nice.
About Buddy's guitar: Looks to me like Clapton's Daphne Blue Strat he used earlier in the tour. Winwoods seafoam green Strat has Lace Sensor pickups (no polepieces) and this one has Fender Vintage Noiseless. I have no idea how he can still sound so raw though! It's Buddy, what can you say. Wish I was there!!!
F you all wining about buddy he was the biggest influence on clapton and clapton audience hasn't even 10 % respect off the amount clapton has for buddy
Positive it was Steve's Strat. Buddy was near my friends for the first part of the show, I doubt he brought his guitar know that 2 guitar gods would have one for him, plus his would have been polka dotted. Either way, It is a sick Strat.
We were sitting 19th row on the floor. It was definitely a great show. However...Buddy should have been a "bonus" and not the "highlight". He should have come out mid-show for his tunes, and EC and SW close the show.
Nice job. The sound is very good. I was in sect. 4 row 4. I've seen E.C. around 9 or 10 times and S. W. around 4 or 5. What a great time it was to see them together. It was cool to notice how much guitar S.W. learned form E.C. and he from Buddy. A once in a lifetime show.
Dude, No apologies necessary. This gave me the chills. And, the flip has great sound quality in addition to the obvious video clarity. I will now get one. God bless, Buddy, Eric and Stevie.
Don't apoligize for nuttin, always appreciate video 4a show I could not attend. You actually did a find job considering. Always great to c Buddy playin the blues!!! Keep on Bangin Buddy!!!
Thanks for posting ... and so soon too! Must have been one helluva night. I only hope that Eric and Steve get to tour in the UK sometime later this year. And for Buddy Guy to close the show with this encore - well you must have been in seventh heaven! Here's to "nice buzzes" all round!

The man is a legend... a face on the Mt Rushmore of Blues... EC/SW recognized it, so allowed him to do whatever they hell he wants.
