The reverence for the ancient people goes without saying in my case. This song is in Latin and this game is based on Italy and the lineage represented in the game goes back to the time unknown. Is it just me or is everyone realising that our ancestors weren't primitives as the modern Bellends with the their PhD degrees would tell us. I think the true reality in the past is far more fascinating than what we can create in modern times. Assassin's Creed comes very close and awakens my true spirit!

@fatguyslim if i admitted that life expectancy in previous ages was a lot lower mainly due to a stupidly high child mortality rate, would that contradict my point? no. child mortality was roughly 2/3rds in the middle ages, making the life expectancy around 30. but if they reached adulthood then it grew to around 50, still nowhere near us. Either way, people had a much lower quality of life, resulting in their early death. I'm not necessarily saying they were less intelligent btw.

This song kinda reminds me of Ezios life. Every-time i hear it i remember meeting Da Vinci for the 1st time carrying his boxes in Florence or at the party in Venice or him sat at the harbour on his birthday and realising he had spent 10+ years of his life hunting down those who had killed his family. Such great memory's and such emotion behind his life. The side quests on his love for the girl from Florence was so touching and sad in a way.
