DC did similar thing with Justice league because J.L.America was also a J.L. Europe and J.L. International.Teen versions of jla were Legion of Super Heroes and Teen Titans, Teen versions os JSA called Super Squad and infinity inc.Marvel's version Young Warriors

I figure that this is like, a selection of their most child-friendly material. You've got picture books telling stories they've already told. Maybe these will be a little better because the writing of the sixties does not hold up today.

And then you've got the comics based on a cartoon based on the comics... keeping the more stylized art style from the show. So, kids stuff.
