haha, it's true. i'm filipino and my natural skin tone is marble (light skin w/ yellow undertones) and i really hate getting a tan because i live by the beauty idea that lighter skin is more attractive and means you're not poor enough to work in the sun. i find it funny how america and the phillippines go by different beauty rules when it comes to skin. but it's nice to be light skinned because most filipinos in my school are dark xD it's good to be different!
