I heard Karl Malone is a work horse in the weight room. I can see him doing bicep curls with 80 lb/ dumbbells on each arm. Benching 400 lbs. And dead lifting 800 lbs. The Mailman is one strong mother fucker.
The Lakers/Jazz playoff series at the end of this season (1988) was a good one. I think it was Michael Cooper who said it was probably the toughest series that Lakers team ever played. (If I remember correctly, it was also Cooper who hit a big 3-pointer near the end of one of those games in that series that helped the Lakers survive).
