  • If I woke up and saw THAT sitting on my bureau, I would freak out.

  • hahahha that was awesome

  • Damn that's a big ass kitty

  • Notice the pattern in front of the cat? It looks like a tigers face

  • What a pretty kitty~ ;D

  • LOL I just about shit my pants laughing there.

  • that would be a hell of a way to be woke up in the morning lmao

  • I completely agree with Alex...instead of paying God knows how much for an exotic animal, why not adopt a homeless pet? There is something fundamentally wrong with our society... Stop abusing wild animals...they are not born to entertain you and to be held captive in a domesticated home.

  • To that Alex kid who commented 3 times in a row....shut the fuck up. Lmao

  • WILD CATS ARE NOT PETS....... ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE SANCTUARIES SHOULD OWN SUCH PETS

  • you encourage other stupid ignorant people to see wild cats as stuffed toys .....in this way you contribute furthermore to the misery and cruelty against small wild cats.......people if you want to see wild cats jumping go to a sanctuary ,watch documentaries.......

  • if you truly cared about wild cats you would NOT own a serval as a pet...why dont you take a cat as a pet ? you dont, because you want to satisfy your VANITY-STUPIDITY ,showing off your exotic cat-prisoner on youtube...wild cats need intellectual and physical enrichment opportunities, a lot of space =natural habitat or sanctuaries...you have declawed this serval =inhumane ,unnecessary mutilation ,CRUELTY......

  • That's one huge ass cat.

  • holy crap its hobbes!

  • wow, he's half the legnth of the door! and that jump was scary! lol

  • IS THIS A FUCKING TIGER?

  • @MadThad0890

it's a liger bro. it's got spots and stripes

  • This FREAKED me out the first time i saw it. the thing is as big as the dresser it's sitting on!!!

  • Oh my gosh, he is so awesome! What is the exact breed? Straight up Serval?

  • ohh that was too funny. cute kitty.

  • so random o.o

  • *thump*

    *lick*

  • Press 0:08

  • Why the hell do you have a serval in your home?

  • @BuzzkillCircusofSin Because they can. I have a mated pair, what's your point?

  • @GunBroker100 I guess I'm just jealous. Servals are awesome.

  • @BuzzkillCircusofSin They are. I have more fun with my two clowns. They are always up for a game of tag, and will chase a laser dot all day. They romp around with my Rat terrier and English bulldog, to hear them, you'd think they were killing each other, but they are just playing around. They are really affectionate and great companions. They love to ride around with me in my truck. I love the looks they get when people see them through the windows, lots of pointing and WTF's, it's great.

  • *BOING*

  • That was really funny for some reason :P

  • Servals are beautiful kitties. :D

  • you have a fucking serval?! 0.o

  • Serval uses POUNCE

    It was Super Effective!

  • HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • I WANT A SERVAL AS MY PET NOW

  • Press 8 repeatedly!

  • What I wouldn't give to hear the Goofy holler when it jumps. Such a beautiful cat.

  • Yeah it looks cute, but this is still a wildlife cat...

  • i guess the owner was scratching on the bed.... so imagine if the owner was jerking off under he sheets, it would really suck to have a huge cat jumping on your balls like that LOL XD they would have to change the tittle to "serval jump to the balls" ouchhhhhh

  • Wow!!.. cute

  • That cat is huge :o

  • cat in other room and press 9 for the cat licking/headbutting the camera

  • BOING THUD LICK XD thumbs up if you agree with me on this being hilarious

  • Wonder if it has ever hit his head on the ceiling? lol

  • Serval: *jumps* DIE! *lands* HA! JUST KIDDING!

  • Did I just see an african serval cat jump and lick a camera?!

    (>ω<)

    SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

  • He/she is so beautiful

  • It still has its wild instincts the way it jumps, is usually how it jumps on a mouse in the wild :) I want a serval <3

  • Epic Jumpp

  • WOW! Love that cat!

  • so beautiful... I love these cats

  • Techinically, this "Serval cat" isn't serval. It's most likely a Savannah F1 Category cat. Which is a hybrid of a Serval cat and a domestic. They make excellent pets. :D

  • Zzzzzz......Zzzzz....Zzzz.... OOF!

  • @csb233 Is the basis of your argument that Servals should be kept as pets because there are no cases of them harming people? Is that an ethical reason to keep them? Or is it a human weakly justifying control over a wild animal? Also, you may also want to check your grammar if you want to be viewed as credible...The words "then" and "than" are separate words and have different uses...

  • @csb233 the point was not so much that the two species are alike physically as that they are both wild and thus unpredictable. These animals belong in the wild. They are listed under CITES Appendix II as a species that, without proper trade control, will become endangered. How can you protect an animal's populations in the wild when individuals are being used for human pleasure and entertainment in captivity? The answer is that you can't.

  • @votumseparatum1 the point is that these cats aren't house cats. It's more to do with their nature and them being very much still wild than us being able to "legally" obtain them. Just because we *can* have them does not mean that we should. Chimpanzees were legal in CT. Sandra Herold owned one named Travis. In '09, he unexpectedly attacked her friend and mauled her face. Again, Travis was "legal", but he was still a wild animal despite being born in captivity...

  • @Conserve4Tomorrow Comparing Servals to Chimpanzees is like somebody comparing Seagulls to Elephants.

Anybody who does basic research on a Serval knows that:

    1. Servals have been used as "domestic" pets since Ancient Egyptian times.

    2. There has never been a documented attack on humans from a Serval.

    3. They are very much legal to own, and easier to obtain then the usual "exotic" pets people see.

Chimpanzee's are under an entirely seperate classification then a Serval.

    Silly fear tactics.

  • @Conserve4Tomorrow Yeah that's what I meant. The obvious need for licensing should be a deterrence for most people.

  • Y U feed serval?

  • i would shit my self if i woke up and the cat was sitting there staring at me lol

  • These cats are wild animals and should not be kept as pets. Servals and other species of wild felines have not undergone hundreds of generations of domestication like house cats and dogs.

  • @Conserve4Tomorrow Yeah, but if we had guys like you in ancient history, those hundreds of generations would never have happened.

Look, I recognize the importance of showing wild animals respect, and I think the incident in Zanesville reinforces that. However, servals are entirely different from the bears, lions, and tigers on that ranch. They can co-exist with humans in their purest form and become better pets when crossbred with housecats. They just need dedicated, caring owners.

  • a 2500$ or more cat

  • @yohanbab a F1 savannah cat can be cost 20.000$

  • @cezosin well thta what they were asking for here, but sterile also, we did ask some owners

  • serval or savannah cat?

  • omg its so big i would be really scared if he was in my room watching me

  • cat : stop filming me ... turn off the damn camera! I warned you ... *jumps*

  • servals are not for being kept as pets

  • @ellenpellenisking yes they are

  • @rigatony019 not

  • @ellenpellenisking false.

  • @rigatony019 not

  • @ellenpellenisking Couldn't agree more. Too many people purchase exotic animals as pets without thinking their decisions through completely...we have an article on our blog about that exact problem

  • @Conserve4Tomorrow Thank you. Why would anyone buy a serval when there are housecats around? To show it off. I don't like it.

  • @ellenpellenisking I think that has a lot to do with it, they think of the "wow" factor before they think about the well being of the animal and even those around them! The Travis Chimpanzee incident highlighted this...wild animals are not meant to be kept as pets!

  • @Conserve4Tomorrow I thought you had to get a license and everything to get one of these cats. It's not exactly a bad, spontaneous decision like getting a dog. At least what I've heard, you have to go through a lot before being allowed to have these cats.

  • @votumseparatum1 It depends on what state you want one in, Kentucky, Texas, and Florida do not require permits to own a Serval or a Caracal. You can usually find breeders in those 3 states who price them at around $3,000 - $4,000. Servals aren't classified under the same classification as owning a Bear, or what most people consider to be Exotic Cats. You can also get hybrid Servals for relatively cheap.

  • this video should be named , Serval standing in the corner . And then BAAM IN YO FACE

  • it looks like an Egyptian statue

  • anyone else see the scary face on it's front legs

  • @ianl704 Lmao I see it ..... (\_/)

  • @ianl704 Looks like the key mask from super mario...

  • @BroniesUNITE That's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about a Phanto. Of course, most of the things said about Phantos are swear words and death threats.

  • @ianl704 that's probably not a coincidence, lots of animals have patterns emulating large faces to frighten off predators.

  • @ianl704 yes, it looks like it would be a little bit startling to wake up and see one of these staring you down

  • that must be the view of a mouse in the wild.. you know just before it get eaten

  • Cute!

  • How much do these cats go for?? my mom would loves cats in general but she would totally go nuts for this one.

  • @tmz90 22,000-28,000

savanahs are significantly less depending on the "purity" so to speak

  • @OblivianArchAngel are these cats dangerous to have around people? i mean would they snap and attack people?

  • @tmz90 @tmz90 they.... can be. they do still retain some of the wild instinctive tendency`s but they are docile if you get them young & get them trained. in short they could be considered similar to a pitbull in that they can be if improperly handled. they are (very) big. but no they wouldn't just "snap" as most animals have a very linear brain and couldn't suffer mental breakdowns. sorry about the in-organization...

  • @tmz90 Actually, sevals are known for their affectionate and loyal nature to their owners. I see as long as you didn't piss it off or be mean to it, they won't snap or attack, like normal domestic cats.

  • Wow, what a beautiful animal. When it sat still it looked like a statue!

  • press 8 for epic jump

  • plopp

  • People have problems with them being domesticated. I agree in some aspects. But don't forget this is how dogs were domesticated. Look at what they did with the foxes in Russia (I think). This is evolution!!

  • @regnierx12 Yeah, not to mention that when they get banned they are put in more danger than if the cats were allowed to be kept. I mean, who's going to give their animal better facilities? Someone who's allowed to take it out of the house; or someone who keeps it hidden in a basement for fear of having it taken away and killed? Exotic pets should be legal, but there should be more strict laws and inspections on what they're fed, where they are kept, ect. Also, it was the foxes in Russia.

  • @regnierx12 Probably closer to genetic tinkering, really. I would argue that a fox designed to be dependent on humans for food and shelter is an evolutionary step backward. Having said that, I'm intrigued with the experiment and impressed that they were able to domesticate the foxes so quickly, in about three generations. I just hope mankind has a use for them, as they did the dogs before them.

  • ...and then it flew....

  • is it allowed to hold servals?

  • @melagads Yes, in some states and countries it is allowed, but I think this beautiful animal belongs in the wild and not in a fucking house.

  • what a lovely animal!

  • what a long a** neck!

  • WANT

  • that is a Serval cat, being domesticated i believe, they are very large, not for families with small land, and these are extremely exspensive i've heard of them being up to $5,000, and from the video, they can jump, up to 9 feet straight into the air.

  • 8 for the moment of truth repeated

  • lmfao he's like "thinkin' about it......thinkin' about it.....thinkin' about it.... OMFG SHINY!" ahahaha xD

  • that was a pounce, not a jump

    camera got eaten

  • @kozmon0t agree

  • TIGER CAT GIRAFFE

  • this reminds me of the last exorcism. lmfao

    if anyone saw it. lololol
