Well this World Cup in South Africa is the first I have ever watched from start to end (go Netherlands!!) and to think I am a hardcore Rugby fan and player. I love football and my kids are going to play football from a young age to develop their foot skills before deciding what sport they want to continue with when they get older (Rugby would be nice).
The ONLY thing I hate about Football is the "diving" absolutely hate it and until FIFA do something about it then I will hate it for that.

This video reflects the truth. Soccer players are not rough enough. They can't stand slight tackles and most of the time they simulate injuries to get free kicks and penalties. They suck so much that I can't keep watching a soccer match for 90 minutes. Hopefully rugby (real football) is here and with the rugby world cup coming next year, life will be really enjoyable with great entertainment from great national teams.

Well this World Cup in South Africa is the first I have ever watched from start to end (go Netherlands!!) and to think I am a hardcore Rugby fan and player. I love football and my kids are going to play football from a young age to develop their foot skills before deciding what sport they want to continue with when they get older (Rugby would be nice).
The ONLY thing I hate about Football is the "diving" absolutely hate it and until FIFA do something about it then I will hate it for that.

This video reflects the truth. Soccer players are not rough enough. They can't stand slight tackles and most of the time they simulate injuries to get free kicks and penalties. They suck so much that I can't keep watching a soccer match for 90 minutes. Hopefully rugby (real football) is here and with the rugby world cup coming next year, life will be really enjoyable with great entertainment from great national teams.

About the most serious injury soccer "stars" face is to their beautiful quiffed haircuts. Also, it appears the rugby players and fans are better educated, which in itself is a superior trait. You can make a few mistakes in soccer and get away with it. You make a mistake in Rugby you're more likely to be punished. Soccer had it's heyday back in the 70's when it was a tough sport. Last time there was a decent World Cup was in '82!
