Slide Tackling

Last defender slide-tackling is usually a BAD decision. An extremely risky decision. Any hint of coming from behind (even cleanly hitting the ball) will bring up a foul. I like the technique explanation, but more should be mentioned regarding the "opportunity of timing" when the attacker reveals the ball, the defending technique of being "next" to the attacker, and also the question of decision-making relative to where this is happening on the pitch.

an awesome way would be to pull out your cheap bottoms, cut two sides of a cardboard box and place a ball inside it, then slide tackle the ball out of the box without out touching or damaging the box.
