@ 1:28 The reason "it sounds different" is because you placed the boost after the distortion you need to put it before the distortion ;)

No pedal is the "best" of anything. But the LPB-1 is pretty good for what it does, it's a booster that can add a little tone because it can help a tube amp saturate. It was like the first distortion/overdrive ever (after they discovered you can crank a tube amp up). There are other good pedals that act as clean volume boosters like the MXR Micro Amp or the Visual Sound TrueTone.

This pedal is good I have one, it really helps my strat sound more modern with more sustain and saturation.

Hi, why my lpb-1 makes a lot of noise (hum) when i put it directely to the amp (without any pedal before or after it) and i put it on the ground?

If i put it upon something far from the ground or i put some pedal before the booster it won't make any hum or noise.

Please, help me!
