okay i have a problem.i recently updated to 5.0.1 and jailbroke my ipod after being on like 4.0.I installed the new appsync 5+ and the installous and have the same settings as before.But this time whenever i sync my ipod with itunes,there is no transfer purchases and when i manually transfer them i dont get the cracked apps like i did on the old jailbreak.When i go under apps,it shows my cracked apps but doesnt label them as apps.I tried reinstalling appsync and installous but that didnt help.

just restart your device once it shows only newstand is available. Once you reboot, everything will be there again.

@dgjsogiagta Installous connects to AppTrackr to get info about the app, when this error appears it means that it can't communicate with the AppTrackr servers, a simple reinstall of AppSync and Installous 4 fixed this for me

1. open itunes with your phone plugged in

2. uncheck "open itunes when this phone is connected

3. uncheck "sync this iphone over wifi"

4. after downloading jailbroken apps, open itunes, right click your device on left

5. click "transfer purchases" (this allows itunes to think you've purchased)

6. sync as you would normally. =)

@mexican24dj Did you try getting .ipa files from external sources other than installous like apptrackr? I'm not sure if the problem lies in ur system or the .ipa file ur downloading. If it is the system, try getting the RedSn0W jailbreak bug fixes update. Check out the tutorial video on my channel.

I had a problem on the semi untethered ios 5.0.0 insallous. Apple I tunes detects the cracked apps of the device which hasn't been purchased from the app store. If you press continue, it delete/sync away all cracked apps from insallous when you plug in your device to the Computer when processing any music video transfers. Will this new version ignore the message when connected?

Just did it, it works perfect. If you get all your apps deleted, don't worry. Just turn off your device and turn it back on, all the apps will be back in there.

Anyways after I did this I did manage to get appsync after respring all apps got deleted even stock apps, just did a restart and all my apps were back. To those who read this I recommend waiting until you know this is safe or an update comes for this. I don't even want to try installous right now till I know it's safe.

@MrKnockoutpie yes it happened to me after I installed appsync. Just reboot your iPhone and it will go back to normal. This is a safe install. I installed both appsync and installous and everything works fine. Installing installous will not delete all your apps.
