yea, building your own box is a great start. Then get that amp again and put it on the other. Make sure you get that port area up so you can hit them lows and tune to 32Hz with 4ft^3 and those subs will flex.
the mrp-m1000 is nice just to get started on a system makes the type r 12s pound pretty decent im getting that same system (different box with a farad) but eventually im gonna put 2 mrp-m1000 hook both of them up thats the way to go
that what alot of people tell me...but i am thinkingm of just getting 2 more type rs. I got two more m450 mono amps just sitting around so i might just build a new one soon...but i dont know.
@nuszky um.... looks better than your carpet pre-fab box. and hits harder i bet. maybe YOU should get a new box before telling others. 1st idea: BUILD YOUR OWN. Pre-fabs are nice for looks (except carpets ones) and SQ maybe.
