It amazes me that every female lead singer with a powerful voice is compared to Janis Joplin...but I must admit in case Dana's case it is justified. She is definately a belter. You could perhaps make the case that she's a better than Janis. I would also look into Beth Hart...amazing voice as well.

but as she's not German, it's only natural her name isn't pronounced the German way - by the way, the German pronunciation "fuchs" would be "fooks" in English, because "fux" would be pronounced "facks" (Englisch pronunciation, written as a German would write it). the English pronunciation written as a German would write it is "fjuks"
