yeah, they(governments) should lift the ban and do some educational/info campaign about the breed and taking care of our dogs or some responsible dog ownership programs and should strengthen the law on animal abuse. I really HATE dog fights!

Yeah. My rescue pit's parents had attacked and killed a goat. No clue what triggered it, but it happened.

My rescued pit is curious when we go up to the sheep, her tail wags and her hair dont stand up , so i guess thats a good thing but still have to be careful.

Never forget the reason they were created for, they r not a breed made by God,or nature,but Man-made back in the 1800's, altering completely the genes of the dog,so they are agressive by "creation", not by nature. a breeder can only control its aggression,but not change its behavior forever,they make great guardians,but always need to have an eye kept on them near strangers(to the dog) and children,especially with female pits who gave birth.

As with most breeds this days there man manipulated. However...the owner makes a pitbull bite.

Not the pitbull..you know why? The dog does not know what the hell a pitbull is or ment to behave.

Training caneasy lease this animals. There dogs like any other dog..

Any dog and child interaction needs to be supervised, regardless of breed of dog. My female rescued pit that was abused and thrown into animal control and was on her last day, set to be gassed? I got my hands on her and she is turning into one of the best dogs that I've ever owned and LOVES any child she meets. I DO supervise her with children as she doesnt realize her size/strength yet, but she is very loving and lovable.

Pit bulls should not be banned but the people who raise them should be under strict scrutiny. My neighbor is an idiot with two wild pit bulls. She should be banned from this country, and her dogs, unfortunately with her because they are not socialized at all.  I have witnessed them attack a defenseless dachshund and she was not even fined!

I totally agree w/ you! I used to have a pair of sweet & loving pitbulls. Never shown signs of agression or viciousness at all. Your neighbor should be banned to have any breed of dog specially pitbulls because she's dangerous & have no right to be a master to even the smallest dog alive!!! She's MONSTER!!!!

thanks for your time and appreciation!you're right!there are numerous reports of pitbull attacks all over the world that's why this breed have been banned in some countries.pitbull,after all,still a beast of prey.however,a dog's aggressions cant be blamed solely to the dog or breed.studies shows that these dogs who attacked humans were used for dogfights or their litters or their litters' litters.man is responsible to these violence bcoz they train and encourage their dogs to be MONSTERS!

Well done. The dogs portrayed are beautiful, loving creatures. Your point is taken: not every dog of an entire breed is dangerous, and many pets ARE the product of the owners demeanor and sensibilities. But don't forget that there is a disproportionate percentage of attacks that are attributable to this breed.
