Meryl Streep put alot of emotion and effort into the song and movie,i think everyone can tell she gives her best in everything she does, she's a talented , pretty for her age and wonderful person, the way she sang it makes us feel like this is a true story and she is the one who delt with all this in her life, the way she sang makes everything realistic! 10/10 fo this movie! Well done!

i went to see the film on wednesday this was my favourite part of the film. I'm only 15 but meryl streep is my favourite actress, she puts so much emotion in the song and you can feel the pain in the song it's a brilliant performance she sings it as if you were in that situation :)

Meryl's passion is clearly evident - the cost of the movie is well worth seeing her belt out this song - it will make you cry and you can feel the pain...she deserves an Oscar for this!

Saw this yesterday and have to say that Meryl gave a terrific performance of this song. This clip is short and cuts off to soon to see that. You need to hear the song in the theater with great sound to be able to feel the emotion she put into it.

well i have to....disagree...with stage... I think Stephanie J Block owns the stage...you should here her sing... Phenomenal... she did: The Pirate Queen The Boy From Oz Wicked 5 to 9 Bite The Musical But Meryl Streep def owns...she made Alice in Concert even watchable,...i think she can fly too... I Love A Piano Tons and tons..

All of you "critics" have more issues than the New York Times. I am a college voice professor and frankly, I was blown away by her vocals. Meryl is stronger than anyone who has performed it on stage and adds an unparalleled emotion to the role. Brava!
