I've been sending my music to record companies for years, but have had nothing back. I've decided to release my music myself, and promote myself. I've been really pleased with all the interest. It's amazing, considering I had no interest from the companies. Being with a record company would be easier, because it's pretty hard work trying to do it all. You know what they say. No pain no gain :)

I used to write poetry as a child. So I ended up with the same problem to start with. I discovered that there are fewer rules for songs. It's almost conversational. I've written several hundred songs. Just keep on writing. Trying something a little different every time :)

I've always enjoyed singing, and i have had one of my songs released on an album in the past. It's not easy, trying to get into the music industry. The most important thing is never to give up. I see myself as mainly a writer. Who knows. The best thing is to keep on looking. That way, the opportunities can be seen when they come along. I've worked with a number of other musicians, and that has helped me too :)

Well keep at it. You can sing. People will praise you, and others will knock you back. The way I look at it. If 6 people love me, and 4 people hate me. Then I'm doing the right thing :)

Thank you Rose. Well most of my songs are written quite quickly. Within an hour or two. The words come very quickly. But that doesn't include the recording. The recording can take a couple of days, and the mixing can take another day or two :)

I'm still learning production so that may speed up in the future :)
