  • tht audience sux toby wood not approve!!!

  • Not very often you see a solo guitarist with Gibson SG

  • @maciekfingerstyle i feel sorry for mentioning him but dweezil zappa? XD

  • skip to 4:47 for cliffs of dover

  • the great song of eric johnson

    lie¡¡¡¡

  • why do guitars smell like cherry chocolate when you first buy them?

  • No, I mean, are there plugins, specific amps, pedals, etc to get this tone or something similar?

  • @ajmccarrell Tube driver, vintage fuzz face, fender twins and marshalls. hell eric johnson could play through a squire amp and still sound like himself. Its in the fingers

  • @helpdonate1 its not even all about the fingers, they're only a small fraction of it... He could play on a First Act through a Spuire, and sound amazing because his soul would still shine through his playing.

  • @JeevesMorris1 ITs not even that!

He could play using a wooden straw, three rubber bands a gas tank and sound exactly like the Vienna Philharmonics because its all in the fingers and not at all in anything else at all. :D

  • I also have an SG. What is the best way to get the tones he has? Any tips?

  • Sg Series are good way, but not perfect, 'cause it's sound like a Rock, the best way to get Eric Johnson's tone is use Fender's guitar.

  • buy eric johnsons fingers

  • @PabloMaffioli

    also his brain

  • good point

  • @PabloMaffioli it's not the fingers u want, it's the muscle memory and his mindset. ; )

  • @hiphopsucks96 we could make a pack and sell it. maybe we become millionaires. anyway, the sound is on his fingers

  • @PabloMaffioli lol sick idea! But seriously, everyones fingers sound the same. It all comes with experience and an open, musical mindset. The sound is the result of his fingers fretting and plucking the strings, causing the strings to vibrate, being received into the pickups, sent to the preamp or amp, modified by a pedal, and finally sent out of the amp. So realistically, it's tone. Do u play guitar? U should know...

  • @ajmccarrell

I believe his effects are custom so no one can really get his tone haha

  • @ajmccarrell Dude. Vinage fender twin with JBL D120 speaker. give you that snap in the intro type of thing. light delay. Leads are vintage marshalls.

  • "Yesterday" in the intro, if I'm not mistaken...beautiful.
