i can do full-on splits (both ways, side to side, front to back) on ground and to a degree can do them bettween two milk crates (incase i fall, its pretty low to the grounds) but thats just it, how do you keep your balance? my legs are strong too but its hard to balance myself.
It's not Hollywood people, he is real. I'de like to see someone or even myself try to even balance enough not to fall off those chairs in that position. phanca I am a practitioner and researcher of Hapkido, I know how hard it is to learn balance, and for the most part,,, most of us don't even know how to breathe, let alone control the body and it's limitations. Thanks
Yeah, you are right. I shouldn't have draw my fist back too far from the board. Maybe I do another video in the future without drawing my fist back :)
I really like this video but also want to know is that allowed to pull your fist that far from the board at one inch punch? Don't missunderstand I'm not dissing! Kinda your fan rather :)
Hey you cheated, that's more like a 14 inch punch. LOL I'm just kidding, great video dude, I saw the tree climbimg video, awesome. I wish I had a video camera in my younger yrs I couldv'e had a nice archive. For summer fun I would climb trees, bridges and buildings.
NEAT Man , Neat.. I should try this sometime, i can do the splits in chairs already :) lol - what type of wood do you get isactly? the model type ect..
The one inch punch was impressive, i still can't belive my eyes, i used to do JKD but i don't remeber anyone in my group being able to do what you did
I am using knotty pine from Home Depot that are used for shelfs. I developed my upper body power and condition each part of my body on a regular basis from the hips and up...
phan man i am huge fan of yours talk about your stuff to all my kids. They are 8, 7, 4 and 2. Other than the youngest top 3 does Ashiyara Karate. They do train a lot of what you do. Thanks
Thanks for all the great comments and suggestions everyone. Yes, the woods is pine woods I got it at Home Depot. All martial arts masters and students use these kind of woods for testing and demonstration. They might look easy to break but if you are not well train you might injure your self such as brusing your knuckles and tear the skin off your knuckles. I find it quite hard from breaking those woods while in the split on the chairs and its held one hand. The inch punch is very tough too..
!!!!!...Pure AwesomeNess!!! This one inch punch, split on chairs is sick!!!.
@ kareemabdullah:
He only gets his wood materials at the nearest Home Depot Stores, that are real quality and certified woods only!
If you want he will give you the type and model # of wood he uses and you can make a video of you on YouTube breaking it, to see if you're right that this is cheap crap wood!!! and if you won't or can't than don't talk "CRAP" of others talent. Only insecured people talk cheap crap.
sorry but umm not to be mean but thats more then 1 inches it was like 4 inches

I think a one inch punch doesn't mean he punches from one inch away, rather, that's the thickness of the wood.

corymarcus25 10 months ago
@kareemabdullah TRY to do that even with cheap crap wood. Then get back to us. And Chibuu uses the normal stuff he would use in training anyways.
