Jess made his fair share of mistakes but his love wasn't selfish and possessive unlike Logan and Dean in the later seasons. Jess sincerely and unconditionally loved her and they brought out the best in each other. Thats why I always thought they always belonged together. *Sigh*. Oh well.

What I love about this the way Rory's relationships show her growth and the way they wrote her relationships to show her emotional state at that point. With Dean he was the one who did everything, he pursued her, he kissed her, he told her he loved her. With Jess it was more of a half/half thing, he did all the pursuing and she kissed him first and started the relationship. With Logan she did most of the pursuing and she's the one who took charge and told him straight up she wanted him.

What I love about this the way Rory's relationships show her growth and the way they wrote her relationships to show her emotional state at that point. With Dean he was the one who did everything, he pursued her, he kissed her, he told her he loved her. With Jess it was more of a half/half thing, he did all the pursuing and she kissed him first and started the relationship. With Logan she did most of the pursuing and she's the one who took charge and told him straight up she wanted him.

Their relationship was completly different. Might be because they really loved each other and were, literally, written for each other.
