I certainly miss the old Comet IIs on the NJCL. I remember I used to ride in them when I was little. Let me tell you, I wish I could've been around to the NJT E60CPs in action.
All of the orignals are scrapped. There is no more Left. 958 was a CP up until it had HEP put in. 958 then became a CH unit. So technically the only surviving CP unit got turned into a CH unit. As I said on the other 958 video we shall be hosting an open house where 958 and all of our other equipment shall be open.-Brian URHS member
958 still exsists today its under the care of the URHS it needs alot of work done on it because it was vandalized in Morristown NJ. It will NEVER run again due to people cutting all the traction motor wire and other wires. Not to mention all the graffiti on it.
Some comet II's had the same interior as the comet I's and the other half of the comet II's had the Arrow II..Now retired since 1995..interior with the Orange & Black seats.
